Our Story

For years, fire departments relied on generic evaluation systems, handwritten notes, scattered files, and memory-based feedback. This created risk, inconsistency, and frustration for everyone involved—especially when evaluations, promotions, or disciplinary decisions were questioned.

We saw a better way. After listening closely to Chiefs, Battalion Chiefs, Captains, and training officers across multiple departments, we built Ladderocity to solve the problems they kept repeating:

"Evaluations aren’t accurate because no one remembers what happened 8 months ago."

Ladderocity was shaped directly by these voices—and continues to evolve with them.

Message From Our Founder

Fire departments carry an enormous responsibility—not just to the community, but to each firefighter who wears the badge. As someone who’s spent years listening to Chiefs describe their challenges with documentation, evaluations, and risk management, I knew there had to be a better way.

Ladderocity is the result of that conviction.

My promise is simple: We will continue to build Ladderocity alongside the fire service, not from a distance. Every feature, every improvement, every workflow is shaped by real conversations with real departments who want to lead with clarity, fairness, and confidence.
